The Grand Canyon 1950-001 36-Inch Thermopile Lead is a replacement thermopile lead used in Grand Canyon control assemblies and safety pilot systems. This 36-inch lead connects the thermopile at the pilot to the gas valve, carrying the millivolt signal that allows the valve to prove flame and shut off gas if the pilot goes out.
Model 1950-001 is sold as a replacement part only. It is intended for use on compatible Grand Canyon assemblies that specifically call for a 36-inch thermopile lead and should be installed and tested by a qualified gas technician following the original system manual and local codes.
