Refractory Logs

  • GCGL refractory gas logs carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects or breakage when installed indoors.
  • When installed in an outdoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit, refractory logs carry a five (5) year warranty.
  • Color fading from use, breakage caused by excessive handling after installation and firing, and damage from improper installation are not covered.

Fiber Products

  • Fiber products such as cannon balls, river stones, and fiber logs carry a five (5) year warranty against manufacturer defects or breakage when installed indoors.
  • When installed outdoors, fiber products carry a two (2) year warranty.
  • Color fading from use, breakage caused by excessive handling after installation and firing, and damage from improper installation are not covered.

GlowFire™ Logs

  • GlowFire™ ceramic fiber logs carry a lifetime warranty when installed indoors.
  • When installed outdoors, GlowFire™ logs carry a two (2) year warranty.
  • The warranty covers manufacturer defects or breakage when products are installed correctly; color fading from use, breakage from excessive handling after installation and firing, and improper installation are not covered.

Domestic Standard Burners

  • GCGL domestic standard burners carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects or breakage when the appliance is installed indoors by a professional installer.
  • When installed outdoors, domestic standard burners carry a one (1) year warranty.
  • Black paint color, sheen, or finish is not covered under this warranty.
  • Burners ordered as ASM (Assembled Systems) have specific warranties for the burner and controls and are not covered as a single combined “burner” warranty.

Domestic Stainless-Steel Gas Log Burners

  • GCGL stainless-steel gas log burners (designated “-SS”) carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects or breakage when installed indoors, in an outdoor fireplace, or in an outdoor-type room (such as two-, three-, or three-season rooms) by a professional installer.
  • The stainless-steel finish will naturally brown and age after burning; changes in finish are not covered.

Athena Stainless-Steel Fire-Pit Burners

  • Athena Fireglass & Accessories fire-pit and fireplace burners carry a five (5) year warranty against manufacturer defects or breakage when installed indoors, in an outdoor fireplace, or in an outdoor-type room (such as two-, three-, or three-season rooms) by a professional installer.
  • The stainless-steel finish will naturally brown and age after burning; changes in finish are not covered.

Electrical Components, Valves, and Pilots

  • GCGL valves, pilot assemblies, and electrical components installed indoors carry a two (2) year warranty against breakage or defects from the date of purchase, and must be installed by a certified professional gas installer.
  • Electrical components installed outdoors carry a one (1) year warranty.
  • This warranty applies only when these components are used with GCGL burners and logs and does not cover batteries.
All product warranties are limited to the original purchaser. Documentation of the purchase or installation date is required for warranty service.
In the event of a covered defect or breakage, replacement parts will be made available through the dealer where the product was originally purchased or shipped directly to the customer for qualifying online purchases.


Prior to submitting any warranty claim, the Grand Canyon Gas Logs Technical Service Department must be contacted to diagnose and validate any faulty or defective part, unless written authorization has been provided to troubleshoot and diagnose products.
