The Grand Canyon DIP-REC-48 48-inch x 14-inch Rectangle Drop-In Pan with H-Burner is an outdoor drop-in fire pit pan and burner kit designed for custom-built fire features. This rectangular system pairs a wide H-style burner with an integrated stainless drop-in pan to create a broad, even flame pattern while helping contain the fire and reduce the amount of media needed to fill the enclosure.
Engineered for outdoor use only, the DIP-REC-48 is rated at 95,000 BTU/hr on both natural gas and propane, with gas-specific orifices included. The pan is sized for a nominal 48-inch x 14-inch opening, with an actual pan footprint of approximately 50.5 inches by 16.5 inches and a 36-inch by 12-inch H-burner centered inside. The kit is supplied with the burner and pan, NG and LP orifices, flex line, connection fittings, and installation manual, ready to be paired with a properly sized key valve or an optional Weather Beater ignition system.
Designed to be finished with approved lava rock or fire glass media, the DIP-REC-48 must be installed in a non-combustible outdoor enclosure that provides the required clearances to combustibles and cross ventilation. When installed and operated per the manual, the outdoor stainless burner is covered by Grand Canyon’s lifetime burner warranty, with a separate one-year warranty on valves, pilots, and electrical components used with the system.
