The Grand Canyon GLE-6B Black Glowing Embers pack is a simple way to boost the realism of your gas log set. This 6 oz bag of black ember material is designed to sit across the burner and ember bed, catching light from the flame to create the look of a deep, smoldering coal bed in front of your logs. The darker tone adds contrast and helps hide burner hardware while still letting the flame pattern show through.
Made for use with compatible gas log burners and fire features, these embers can be used as a stand-alone top layer or blended with vermiculite and lava media to fine-tune the ember presentation. A single 6 oz bag is typically enough to refresh the glowing front edge on most standard fireplace burners; larger fireboxes or see-through applications may benefit from multiple bags.
