The Grand Canyon 712-009 720K BTU Electronic Gas Valve is a high-capacity OEM electronic gas control valve used in Grand Canyon’s 712-009 pilot ignition system with flame rectification, rated up to 720,000 BTU. In the complete system, this valve works with a transformer, pilot assembly, and burner to control gas flow and support electronic ignition and flame-sensing safety.
This specific 712-009 configuration is supplied as the valve only, without transformer, pilot tubing, pilot assembly, or burner, making it a service part for replacing a worn or failed valve in an existing 712-009 system. It should only be installed on compatible Grand Canyon installations and always by a qualified gas technician following the original system documentation and local codes.
