The Grand Canyon Gas Logs 90K BTU Quick Mount Safety Pilot, Natural Gas (GAS-SPQMKN) is a replacement safety pilot control assembly built around Grand Canyon’s SPQMKN Manual Valve Safety Pilot System, rated up to 90,000 BTU/hr for natural gas. The SPQMKN safety pilot kit appears in Grand Canyon’s valves and control systems chart as a manual valve safety pilot system with a 90K BTU rating, with this version dedicated to natural gas only.
This assembly is intended for use with compatible Grand Canyon vented burner systems that are designed to accept the SPQMKN-style safety pilot, and should always be installed and serviced by a qualified gas professional according to the burner’s installation manual and local codes. It is not field-convertible to propane; a separate propane safety pilot kit (SPQMKLP) is listed in the catalog for LP applications.
