The Grand Canyon MVKEIKN is a battery-powered electronic ignition kit for natural gas burners, rated up to 160,000 BTU/hr. It’s an intermittent-pilot style package designed to give push-button convenience without running a 120V line. The kit ships with a handheld remote, so you can light, run, and shut down the fireplace from the couch while keeping the control hardware out of sight.
Use MVKEIKN anywhere you want electronic start without hard wiring. Pair it with the appropriate Grand Canyon vented burner in the correct size and fuel; clearances and total BTU will follow the burner you choose. If you need the LP version, that’s offered as a separate model.

Lifetime warranty when installed indoors, in an outdoor fireplace, or outdoor-type room (e.g., two-/three-season rooms) by a professional. Stainless finish will brown/age with use.
Athena Stainless-Steel Fire-Pit & Fireplace Burners
5-year warranty against manufacturer defects or breakage when installed by a professional (indoor, outdoor fireplace, or outdoor-type room). Stainless finish will brown/age with use.
Valves, Pilots & Electrical Components (excluding batteries)
2-year warranty for indoor installations; 1-year for outdoor. Coverage applies only when used with Grand Canyon burners and logs. ODS pilot assemblies carry a 1-year warranty.
