The Grand Canyon Remote Kit (GCRK) is an on/off remote control kit designed for use with Grand Canyon gas log burners that utilize millivolt or 24V gas valve systems. Rated up to 85,000 BTU/hr, this manual on/off remote with integrated timer allows you to start and stop your fireplace from across the room, while the LCD screen displays room temperature and operating status for quick at-a-glance confirmation.
This battery-powered transmitter and receiver pair supports simple manual on/off operation plus a programmable timer from 15 to 180 minutes in 15-minute increments, with an operating range of approximately 1–30 feet, depending on battery strength and installation. Features include selectable °C/°F display, low-battery indication, a child-proof lock-out, 16 security codes, and a quick-disconnect wiring assembly for straightforward installation and service.
The GCRK kit is supplied as a complete package with transmitter, receiver box, slide switch, wall cover plates, battery doors, plug-in wiring assembly, mounting hardware, and instructions, making it a clean upgrade path for many Grand Canyon 2-burner, 3-burner, Kiva, glass, and Jumbo/Jumbo Slimline burner systems within the listed BTU and size ranges.
