The Grand Canyon FT-WBECS-24TC Thermocouple for WBECS is the replacement thermocouple designed for use with the Grand Canyon Weather Beater Electronic Control System (WBECS). This sensor sits in the pilot flame and monitors its presence, allowing the control system to shut off gas flow if the flame is lost.

Intended as an OEM service part, the FT-WBECS-24TC is used when the original thermocouple is damaged, worn, or no longer reading the pilot correctly. Installing the proper Weather Beater thermocouple helps restore safe, reliable operation of compatible Grand Canyon outdoor fire pits, fire tables, and burners that use the WBECS platform.

Domestic Standard Gas Log Burners (coated steel; excluding controls)

Lifetime warranty when installed indoors by a professional; 1-year warranty when installed outdoors. Paint/finish is not covered. Assembled Systems (ASM) have separate burner vs. control warranties.

Domestic Stainless-Steel Gas Log Burners (-SS; excluding controls)

Lifetime warranty when installed indoors, in an outdoor fireplace, or outdoor-type room (e.g., two-/three-season rooms) by a professional. Stainless finish will brown/age with use.

Athena Stainless-Steel Fire-Pit & Fireplace Burners

5-year warranty against manufacturer defects or breakage when installed by a professional (indoor, outdoor fireplace, or outdoor-type room). Stainless finish will brown/age with use.

Valves, Pilots & Electrical Components (excluding batteries)

2-year warranty for indoor installations; 1-year for outdoor. Coverage applies only when used with Grand Canyon burners and logs. ODS pilot assemblies carry a 1-year warranty.
